"SEPTEMBER GIRLIES"
A day to remember,
A day to cherish,
A day to celebrate,
Happy Birthday!
Generally, our class would plan a surprise birthday party by acting out a scene like fighting with each other to create a pressured and gloomy atmosphere in the classroom but this time, we decided that such tradition has become a bit boring and expected by the birthday person. So, we came to a conclusion to just follow the flow and acted like nothing extraordinary would happen. Wishing them a happy birthday and engulfing them into warm hugs were our objectives and tricks not to let the birthday girls to sense any hints of the surprise.
Dear Amyrah, Husna and Alia,
You might wouldn't ever figure out how anxious we got when Ana accidentally sent a photo of birthday caps in our TESL 1 group and how much we freaked out upon seeing some of you had seeing the picture and even replied about it. How we secretly used the kitchen in biam to cook spaghetti for you guys, how we acted as if we are going to do the poetry dramatization on tuesday which is today, how we prevented you guys from going out from the dorms in order to let our plans went unnoticed.
Nothing ever went smoothly, but it was definitely memorable and for sure, a day to remember.
It was a day to cherish the three of you who have worked hard in everything you have done, the kindness you poured into our hearts, the smiles and laughters you shared with us, happy birthday the three of you!
